HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
As Halloween is just around the corner I thought I’d show you what make-up look I would use if I were to go to a Halloween party this year.
I’ve wanted to do a clown inspired halloween-look for some years now and this year seem as good a time as any. So here is my first take on a clown. I think it turned out okay, but I was surprised as to how har it is to draw straight on your cheeks. I had some trouble with that part of the look so it isn’t perfect but I think it ended alright.
I also know that the look is a bit crooked but I think that actually just add to the idea of the clown. I love to see those perfect looking clown looks you can find online. Although at times I think they get to pretty. So I have embraced the crookedness of my lines and made it a part of the look.
What have I used:
Face;
To make my skin look as flawless as it can with all my acne scars I’ve used,
Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation
Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer
MAC Prep+Prime Transparent Finishing Powder
A bit of Benefits Hoola to sculp my face a bit. If you have something even more gray I think that would work better.
Eyes;
Urban Decay Shadow Insurance Anti Aging, to ensure the look to last all day.
MAC eyeshadows in the colours Star violet on the lid, Sketch and #Noir in the crease.
A bit of Ka
t Von D tattoo Liner in Trooper to line my eyes.
Clown markings and lips:
For the clown markings and the black parts of the lips I used the same Kat Von D liner as on my eyes, but any longlasting eyeliner can be used. I think i might be even better if you used a pencil liner on the lips opposed to a liquid liner.
I topped the lips with a bit of NYX matte Lipstick in MLS32 Siren to tie the look together.
I hope you found some inspiration from this look.
Have a happy and safe Halloween.
