The summer, the sun, and the healthy glow it gives to your skin inspired this look. It takes minimal effort and time, making it perfect for the back to school season. I know I’m going to wear this as long as my (minimal) tan allows it
It’s always important to prime your face. I started with a good face sunscreen (which you should wear year round) and the applied my Benefit POREfessional
We are keeping it light with a nice bb-cream instead of foundation. The one I’ve used is Biotherm Aquasource BB-cream. Just apply this all over your face.
To keep the sun in this look even when the summer is gone, use a bronzer with a little shimmer in it. I’ve used Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Summer Escape Bronzing Powder. Swirl this on with a big fluffy brush finding all the places where the sun would naturally hit your face.
On my eyes I’ve used the Clinique chubby stick (for the eyes) in 01 bountiful beige and applied it to the entire eyelid. Next apply a little bit of a mat taupe colour, I’ve used a MAC shadow in the colour HAUX, in the outer corner of your eye to bring some depth to the look.
Optionally apply a little bit of glod eyeliner in the outer corner of your eye as well, I’ve used e.l.f Brightening Eyeliner in Gold.
Apply your favorite mascara and fill in your brows if you fell the need.
For the lips, keep it simple and nude. Start by appling your favorite lip balm, I’m using the La Roche-Posay Barrier Reparing Balm, give the balm a little time to absorb into the lips and then apply your favorite nude lipstick or lip-gloss. The one I’m wearing is the Rimmel London Kate Moss in the colour 38.
